Digit is booked for two more GXO warehouses. The robots are not there yet
Agility and GXO said on 26 October that Digit will take on e-commerce work in Statesville, North Carolina, and Lebanon, Tennessee. Deployments are expected in early 2027, on the current Digit 4, moving to Digit 5 when that model is for sale. The 100,000 totes are what the companies say has already been moved at one site in Georgia. No robot count was given for the new sites.

Agility Robotics and GXO said on 26 October that their warehouse partnership is getting two more buildings. Digit is to support e-commerce fulfilment at GXO sites in Statesville, North Carolina, and Lebanon, Tennessee, doing repetitive material handling. The companies say deployments are expected to begin in early 2027. They will start on Digit 4 and move to Digit 5 when that version is commercially available. Expected is not a start date, and Digit 5 is not the machine that will walk in the door.
The record they point to is the one site already running. A multi-year agreement in 2024 put Digit into a live GXO warehouse in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Since then, the companies say, it has moved more than 100,000 totes. They do not say over how many shifts, how many robots, or what share of the building’s totes that was. A tote moved is a real task. It is not, by itself, a rate a second building can be promised.
Two addresses, no fleet size
What the note does not contain is the number of robots, the price, or a statement that either of the new sites has received one. A partnership expanding from one warehouse to three is a commercial step, and it is further than a demonstration. It is still a plan until a robot is on the floor in Statesville or Lebanon and someone other than the two companies has counted what it moved.
