peaq and Eintracht will spend a year looking at stadium machines. None are on the network yet
The club’s digital company and peaq say Deutsche Bank Park is the place they will study. The post is a 12-month review. It does not name a turnstile, a meter, or a payment that has moved.

peaq said on 13 October that it is working with EintrachtTech, the digital subsidiary of Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, on machine-economy uses in and around a football stadium. The review runs for 12 months. Deutsche Bank Park is the starting point. peaq’s post says the two sides will look for applications of connected infrastructure, and that any build would be judged together. It does not say one has been chosen.
A stadium is a dense set of machines that already exist: turnstiles, payment terminals, catering kit, cameras, floodlights, meters, barriers, delivery vehicles. peaq’s own writing lists that kind of equipment as the reason a ground is interesting. Listing them is not the same as attaching them. The post does not name a device, a vendor, or a reading that has been written to peaq. A year of discovery can end with a pilot. It can also end with a report.
The platform claim and the stadium claim are different
On peaqOS, the company says, a machine can offer a service, take a service, and put idle capacity to work. That is a description of the software. Applied to Deutsche Bank Park it is a hypothesis: that some of those machines might, later, identify themselves and settle a small job without a person in the middle. The announcement does not say which job, what the machine would be paid in, or who would be allowed to switch one on. A partnership that starts by evaluating requirements has not yet changed what a floodlight or a barrier can do.
This sits next to two peaq items already on file this month. On 1 October peaqOS Verify went live as a check that a machine’s secure-chip signature matches a manufacturer certificate. On 2 October Acurast said the first processors from its phone network were visible on peaqOS. Those were functions that had been switched on. The stadium note is earlier in the sequence. It is a place, a counterparty, and a calendar. Until a named machine at the ground carries an identity and a record of a job, the network has a prospect, not a deployment.
