Serve is selling the link behind its robots. It has not named a price
On the same day as the results, Serve said it would open the tools behind its own fleet to other companies. The first named customer is Bedrock Robotics, for a connection over Wi-Fi, mobile and satellite. There is no price, no term, and no count of Bedrock machines.

Serve said on 5 November that it is opening the technology behind its own robots to other companies, under the name Physical AI Services. The release names three pieces. Serve Link is the connection between a machine in the field and the models, monitoring and training that sit elsewhere, including in data centres. Serve Data Curator is a tool that, the company says, picks out the rare moments in fleet video so a model can be trained on them. A catalogue of real-world foundation-model data is drawn from Serve’s own sidewalk running: terrain and street infrastructure, the sort of scene a model has to read if it is to move among people. A catalogue is not a sale until someone has paid.
The named launch customer is Bedrock Robotics, which builds autonomy for heavy construction equipment. The release says Bedrock uses Serve Link to connect its machines over Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G and satellite. It does not say how many machines, on which site, for what fee, or for how long. No other customer is named. Serve says it has deployed over 2,000 robots in more than 40 cities and 27 hospitals. That is the fleet the tools were built for. It is not a count of outside machines now on the link. Ali Kashani, the chief executive, said building a robot is only the beginning, and that keeping thousands of them connected is another layer of technology, which Serve is now opening so other companies can focus on what their robots do. An invitation is not a contract.
The third-quarter accounts, published the same afternoon, are a separate piece of paper. They show $2.8 million of revenue and a $59.2 million net loss. A services launch does not change those figures until it has a price.
